It’s been a while since I posted about magnetism and I’m thankful to be back sharing on this Magnetic Monday. When I think about the times in my life where I was the most stagnant – where things were not happening for me- it’s when I wasn’t in movement.
I would pile on various tasks and get too overwhelmed to do any of them. I would flood myself with too much research (yes, that’s a thing!), end up with too many options, then get paralyzed with decision making.
What I know now: knowing yourself goes a long way. For me, that looks like getting help with my tasks and giving myself a research time limit. When it comes to social media it means not letting the idea of perfectionism (you know there’s no such thing) stop me from posting.
Refining your process goes a long way, especially if you’re in the beginning stages of something. Forget the fancy camera, the perfect visuals, the “right” caption.
Manage Overwhelm in 3 Ways
What can you do to lessen your overwhelm so that you can move forward with the flow?
1. Start with what you can do right where you are.
2. Identify where you are being too hard on yourself and let that GO.
3. Remind yourself that everything and everyone has it’s time to shine the brightest. There will come that period where you will tweak and expand in flow. It will feel effortless and weightless I promise you.
Taking action is what gets you seen. Keep moving, keep growing.
