‘Tis the season for Halloween… Oh my these Gluten Free Halloween Treats!
Fall season mixed with a little spooky and a lot of candy is my all-time favorite time of the year. Between my clients, friends, neighbors (who smell my baking constantly), and family members, I am always on the hunt for a new recipe. This is partially for selfish reasons and partially because the loved ones in my life are always asking! These little Gluten Free Halloween treats are the first that I have made this season and I am so excited to share the recipe with you.
They are gluten-free, soy free, dairy free, but certainly not free on the fun! These babies took about 30 minutes total between prep time and baking. How simple is that!?? To witness the arc of gluten-free recipes over the years has been an exciting experience. What used to be a somewhat bland alternative of favorite treats, has become something just as popular as regular desserts with all the wheat and dairy in them.
Yes I live my life mostly gluten-free. With that said, I am constantly exploring recipes of that nature. As a nutrition coach I will be the first to tell you that just because something is gluten-free and Paleo does not make it healthy. For those of us with allergies and gut intolerances it is certainly a healthier option for us then a regular dessert, and tastes just as good. Even if you do not live a Paleo and G-Free life, I can promise you these glutenfree Halloween treats will not disappoint you!
