America’s birthday is one of my favorite holidays, hands down. It reminds me of some of my favorite childhood moments- going to Naples Beach Pier to see the fireworks, my Mom’s home cooking of great southern side dishes and fruit desserts, my Dad lighting the sparklers for me and my little sister to play with in the back yard. Now as an adult, more than anything I enjoy the food at these holiday parties. Here are some tasty 4th of July Food Ideas that are on my radar for this year.
First up we have a mouth watering twist on guacamole from an all-time favorite foodie blog that I love, What’s Gaby Cooking. You’ll see that the main ingredient aside from the avocado is charred corn. Just brilliant! Serves 4, 10 min to make. Have a look…
This next one from Delish is one I’ve made over the years and it never gets old. It’s refreshing, it’s healthy, and has that sweet and salty combination we all love so much. It’s the watermelon feta summer salad and it’s guaranteed to be a hit at your next party gathering. It serves 4 with 10 min or less to make. This last one I’m sharing is for all my fellow rosé lovers out there in the world. What way better way to celebrate America’s than with a rosé sparkling lemonade. This cocktail from Country Living is so easy to make- summer sippin’ will never be the same again. The recipe serves 6 and takes 5 min to make. Mind how many glasses you enjoy, especially in case you’re driving. I want everyone to get home safely this holiday so drink responsibly and pace yourself with this drink.
Enjoy these 4th of July food idea!
